Quarantine Services
Big Island pets and their families can chose to complete their quarantine stay at our facility instead of the State Animal Quarantine Station on Oahu. Although the length of your pets stay and the rules of confinement are determined by the State Department of Agriculture, as a private facility we are able to offer your pets a few more amenities then are found at the state facility. Cat Quarantine
Our cat enclosures are large and airy (5 feet by 8 feet wide and 8 feet high) and allow enough room for you to sit comfortably with your cat for a visit. With perches, hide-a-ways, and a view of the outside your cat will soon adapt to his or her new surroundings.
Dog Quarantine
Our dog runs are large (6 by 10 inside and 4 by 4 outside) and provide space enough for your dog’s bed, toys and a chair for you to sit and visit. There is also a play yard with a pool for your dogs enjoyment and the separate compound of only 4 kennels allows your dog to have the enjoyment of seeing and hearing a few other dogs near by without being overwhelmed with the constant noise and activity of a large quarantine station.
While everything is provided for your pets need, you are welcome to bring in any toys, treats or bedding that you thing would make your pet feel more at home.
Our quarantine visiting hours are very liberal. You may visit at any time and stay for as long as you wish during the posted visiting hours. Our visiting hours are:
10 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday
10 am to 1 pm Saturday and Sunday
